The Kyanecraft Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.6, is an amazing texturepack. The artist has changed every single available texture in the default pack. By making every texture available in high resolutions it makes the game not only far more realistic, but also cartoony. The texturepack meds together the two aspects so well together that you almost forget about the cartoony aspect. And in turn you would say that it is in fact, very realistic.

KayneCraft Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.6.1 Main Features

This texturepack changes all of the original texture art into new, unique and very fascinating pieces of his own work. The texturepack provides a very unique genre of textures in which I have only seen done few times. However, I have never seen this type of theme done so beautifully and I am extremely glad of this. Texturepacks can often be ruined because of poor consideration towards the theme on motivated idea. Many hours were spent on the creation of this texturepack and the outcome has definitely been worth the time. The texturepack is not only very admirable and beautiful to simply look at; but also to simply use almost the same way as default. Just to play with, as simple as that. And the Kaynecraft texturepack definitely works like the default texturepack, by simply allowing the user to play with the pack without seeing a very huge change in the default originality.

Fortunately for minecraft users, the developer and artist of the Kaynecraft texturepack; is available in 3 different resolution versions. The different resolutions this pack are available in are: 32x, 64x, and 128x. The higher the number of the resolution, the more FPS the texturepack will take up. To view your FPS usage simply press the “F3” key on your keyboard. Up the top left hand corner of your screen you will be able to see how much FPS you have. Be smart when choosing a resolution, if you think your computer can handle a high def- texturepack then go ahead and enjoy the beautiful wonders of the high definition, best quality version of the kaynecraft texturepack. However if your game already has low fps, and may not be able to handle the texturepack at a high resolution be smart, and get a lower version.

Usage

When using the Kaynecraft texturepack for minecraft 1.6.1, because of its resolution and animation detail, the texturepack required a foreign program or a mod to patch your minecraft. Both of these options work relatively the same, however with a program such as mcpatcher; you are able to easily install mods also, as well as patching a texturepack. However this must be done manually. A mod such as optifine will automatically patch your minecraft texturepacks on installation however mods will have to be installed manually. Both of these options work fine, equally. Also it is recommended that you get both rather than one. However the texturepack will not work without a patcher.

Because it can be valued by the true lovers of Minecraft as it is a semi – vanilla texture pack which adds new texture, enhancing the overall look of Minecraft, but at the same time it keeps faithful and loyal to the original textures and barely modifies them. Ovo’s Rustic Packs 64X_1.7. Satori Yacht Texture Packs

By request, this the 512 x 512 version of the texture pack that goes with my yacht, Satori.
This pack only contains about 10 512x512 textures so far, and is a work in progress. The general theme is a modernist/Eastern-inspired architecture with Japanese tatami floor maps and shoji wall panels as well as wood and gravel for a zen garden. Free to use as you wish.

How to install:

SMP’s Revival Texture Packs

Minecraft SMP’s Revival Texture Pack utilizes MCPatcher’s Connected Textures & Randomobs mods to a huge extent. If you want to use his extensive connected textures mod support, MCPatcher is required. Currently MCPatcher has a better CTM version than Optifine’s.

It’s late, but it’s here! The 1.7 compatibility update and the inclusion of nearly 145 new blocks added to extra metadata. The use of WorldEdit and MCPatcher‘s Connected Textures mod is required to utilize the new, extra blocks. For info on how to do this, look up how to change a block’s metadata using WorldEdit’s //set command on their wiki.

I’m afraid I don’t have a changelog to post, as this update has been worked on sparingly over the past few months, and amid all the changes and additions I totally lost track of what changed. To make up for that, here’s an image showing off all the new blocks added to metadatas.

SMP’s Revival 1.7 This texture pack features extensive support for the Connected Textures and Randomobs mods included in MCPatcher (please note that these same features in Optifine may not work correctly). The pack will work fine without them, but by enabling these mods you’ll will get a more dynamic look to the game. For a better explanation of Connected Textures and Randomobs and installation instructions, check out this video (coming soon).

 How to Install

STMLP Realism HD Plus

 



If you want to use STMLP Realism HD Plus properly 32× or higher, you may have to be compelled to either patch your Minecraft using MCPatcher or OptiFine. The "Hawkpack" is Hawkprojects official CMCRP (Custom Minecraft Resource Pack) And the whole pack is about 3 months of work. So i hope you all like it! :)

It's a plain looking Resource pack and is ment to make Minecraft look better but not too realistic.

September: After The Fallout is a post-apocalyptic HD texture pack that gives a dark and dismal feel to the game.  Every block has been re-textured with the apocalypse in mind, and the altered green shaded lightmap gives the world a grim atmosphere. Contrary to what the name implies, this pack is in no way related to the Fallout series, aside from a couple secret references.

This is Revned’s Texture Pack. The texture pack is not only stray too far away from the default Minecraft look, but also make the textures unique and give them their custom style.
First of all download my texture pack from the Download section and save it to your Minecraft texture pack folder. If you dont know how to locate the texture pack folder simply start Minecraft, go to "Mods and Texture Packs" and click on "Open Texture Pack folder". Do not extract the zip file just put the .zip file in it!
Since this a 256x256 texture pack you will need to install OptiFine with Magic Launcher. If you have downloaded Magic Launcher and Optifine * Standard version, simply start Magic Launcher and click on "SETUP" there you will be able to click "ADD" to browse to the Optifine zip which you have downloaded before. If Optifine Standard is loaded into the list you can simply press OK and log into Minecraft via Magic Launcher

The DTI pack (default textures improved) is based on the default Minecraft textures. I've tried to keep it simple and every blocks should be recognizable. I've got a few ideas from other texturepacks and the painterlypack but every texture is either created or edited by me. This is, however, my first texturepack and I'm open to suggestions!

Clean Design Texture Packs 1.5.2

The structure is simple but very effective design books! Pretty self explanatory, clean design is a texture pack is made ​​by Shortstuf7 that makes all the textures look very clean. Making the world look more flat (if possible in Minecraft!) And quite a bit more fun. It is a very happy feeling to it that I love. Not to mention, all the monsters look so cute! I think this package is good for this kind of building OCD. The package looks very nice with this and ... good cleaner! Shortstuf7 certainly do a great job on making Minecraft a lot more fun and clean!

Structural my favorite in this package would be; 1: glowstone lights! You can see them in the picture above ... they look great, I love them! 2: Glass! I love how the glass border that looks like wood, is very effective in my opinion. My structure is not only a big fan of the rock, seems a little to flat in my opinion, but other then that the package is amazing!

Install Texture Pack

1.Download a texture pack in a ZIP file format, do not unzip. If you created your own textures, you need to ZIP them. For in-depth instructions on obtaining the files to make your own custom texture pack go to Tutorials/Custom Texture Packs.
2.Run Minecraft. If you already have Minecraft running, make sure you save and quit the world: you need to be in the main menu to continue (If you have Optifine, you can go to Options > Video Settings while in-game).
3.Click Texture Packs button.
4.Click Open Texture Pack Folder button; this will open the folder where Minecraft stores all texture packs. If nothing happens, you need to find the folder manually. Depending on your operating system it is:Windows: %AppData%\.minecraft\texturepacks
Linux: ~/.minecraft/texturepacks (This folder may be hidden in the Home Folder)
Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/texturepacks (This folder may be hidden)
5.Do not close Minecraft. Place the texture pack (ZIP file) in the opened folder, do not unzip.
6.In a few seconds the texture pack will appear in Minecraft. Select it (may take a few seconds for high-resolution packs), and click Done. The texture pack is now applied, you may now load your world and see the difference.

Authentic Chinese RPG Texture Packs

Texture packs are incredible pieces of artwork. However, to become amazing; one must first take the time to delve into the work, and insert an immense amount of effort, time and dedication to his/hers texture pack.  The artist of the Authentic Chinese RPG Texture Pack, Bohtauri, has clearly implemented a large amount of his time into the completion and initial development of the work he has produced. The texture pack itself is based on two very unique idea’s. Implementing traditional Chinese designs into the game of minecraft, and combining it with a smooth, realistic feel. The textures in which are implemented have been changed significantly compared to the vanilla, Default textures of the Minecraft texture pack. When designing the textures initially, the artist has shown a lot of detail and this is visible to anyone whom decides to look carefully at the texture pack, or simply just by using it on your game. When implementing these textures, the artist has made sure he has covered every detail and section of the pack layout so that all the environmental  natural and man-placed blocks tile perfectly together. Even if they are of different terrain or block-types.

Exploring you world of Minecraft is made so much more admirable, even just building and breaking can be enjoyed so much more, to a whole new, and extraordinary level. The game, and its mood feeling seems to have just been lifted when I use the pack, and its amazing about how much better playing the actual game, with the texture pack has changed for me. I am sure, certain that this affect will also occur for other players/user whom of which are willing to use the texture pack. Even though the texture pack was based around the very simplistic 16x resolution, which is the lowest resolution version available; the texture pack is incredibly detailed, and realistic. This is because the designer has clearly implemented detail to the best of his ability, and the result has shown it well as a result.

Here is a HD texture pack that makes the default one look better and more of a higher resolution.
