Satori  512x. Custom luxury motor yacht designed by Apple Bruce Industries. Design specifications are for high performance combining stylish design with the practical functions of an oceangoing expedition yacht. To this end, Satori boasts a 1 inch thick laser-welded steel plate hull, as well as the world's first hybrid azipod/water jet propulsion system for maximum speed and maneuverability. The primary point of reference for interior and exterior styling is Japanese culture, with a hybrid of Eastern and Western design sensibilities. The Japanese influence is most strongly embodied in the unique samurai-inspired exhaust flumes atop the foc'sle, the enclosed zen garden near the top of the yacht, shoji-paneled meditation chamber, and extensive use of tatami flooring throughout. EarthCraft Resource Pack

My main goal was to recreate the game earthbound (mother 2) using only graphics from the mother series.
I am currently refining this pack by selectively blurring textures with the cartoon filter on gimp [3, 0]. I'm also blowing 16x16 graphics up to 32x32; this combined with the filter adds more depth to the textures but makes it look less like the original., I have my qualms about it but I think it's worth it since I believe the original artists would have used more colors/larger resolutions if it were possible on the system . MOST textures (especially items) look way better like this but let me know what you think.
Whats been changed:
A few mobs have been stubbed in with temporary templates.
Almost all blocks
Roughly all sounds/music that have an earthbound counterpart
The gui is almost done, I used I higher res one as a template and need to make its my own with a few icons and such.
A few of the items have been done I brought them up to ridiculous resolutions to make them look neat.
Fixed:
Finished lava, and water
Found suitable obsidian replacement
Made portal animation red and black (like gygas)
Replaced solid color grass with variable one
redid tree textures from scratch (to make them look more pixelated)
put in ray gun and created slingshot (still thinking of suitable replacement)

APoV Texture Packs

Similarity with Minecraft vanilla blocks. Structures made in vanilla Minecraft will preserve roughly the same style. Colours, shapes even some of the logic behind the blocks are very close to vanilla. It is almost an improved version of the original textures from Minecraft.

Easy recognition
The design of the blocks was created to be easily recognised, yet with a touch of style itself. The visibility was improved by using slightly lighter textures. Some details have been increased while some other elements have been simplified, all with the aim of facilitating the recognition of the blocks.

Between pixel art and realistic art
A touch of realism with pixel art.

Logical design
The materials shown in the art represent the necessary components to create the block. You will not see, for example, metal parts in objects made purely of wood (e.g. crafting table). Of course, some exceptions are accepted for the good of the final result.

Modularity
The resource pack aims to be used without the need of special programs, using only basic Minecraft. However, advanced features will become available (CTM, mod support, et cetera.) and be downloaded separately. In other words, you only download what you need to use. This minimises the number of unnecessary files for the end user (lighter packages).

Conquest Texture Packs

This texture pack for Minecraft 1.5.2 is made by ‘monsterfisher’ and is a 32×32 texture pack. It is still in development and many textures currently will be changed/edited over time for better effect. This texture pack is based on ‘JohnSmiths’ and brings a dark, rustic feel to Mincraftia. Conquest has two different versions of lightmap depending on your preference. ‘Conquest’ uses dark accented colours to punch forward a rich and professional feel. The colours are compliment each other and overall make up a lovely depiction of Minecraft!

Conquest Main Features

• This texture pack does nothing out of the ordinary but instead focuses on improving the aesthetics and overall look of Minecraft, and I personally think ‘monsterfisher’ has done exactly that!


• The use of dark accented, rich colours really help to bring forward the professional style!


• The texture for NPC’s and Mobs are particularly dazzling. As the texture pack author has been given permissions, this allowed him to really push the boundaries and was able to create an amazing TP!


• The TP includes two versions of lightmaps, meaning you can have a preference!

Positives and Negatives

PROS: This mod is fully updated for Minecraft 1.5.2, meaning that all of the new features and functions are all correctly and expertly textured! This mod is fully compatible and is available for download for client single player and server multiple player!
CONS: None at all, this texture is fantastic and really delivers everything you want in a texture pack! Unfortunately, the changelogs for the mod are very unorganized!

How to Install

1. The installation of texture packs are very simple!


2. Download the latest version of the texture pack and drag and drop the .zip files into the ‘saves’ folder of your Minecraft.jar and select it from the Minecraft Menu.. DONE!

Was a personal texture pack, but after uploading my redstone creation videos on youtube a lot of people wanted the pack.

The packs theme is basically:
Default pack inspired.
No noise.
No harsh colors.
All angles @ 90 degrees. (even the rails/grass etc XD)
All spacing even... OCD even

Install
Download a texture pack in a ZIP file format, do not unzip. If you created your own textures, you need to ZIP them. For in-depth instructions on obtaining the files to make your own custom texture pack go to Tutorials/Custom Texture Packs.
Run Minecraft. If you already have Minecraft running, make sure you save and quit the world: you need to be in the main menu to continue (If you have Optifine, you can go to Options > Video Settings while in-game).
Click Texture Packs button.
Click Open Texture Pack Folder button; this will open the folder where Minecraft stores all texture packs. If nothing happens, you need to find the folder manually. Depending on your operating system it is:
Windows: %AppData%\.minecraft\texturepacks
Linux: ~/.minecraft/texturepacks (This folder may be hidden in the Home Folder)
Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/texturepacks (This folder may be hidden)
Do not close Minecraft. Place the texture pack (ZIP file) in the opened folder, do not unzip.
In a few seconds the texture pack will appear in Minecraft. Select it (may take a few seconds for high-resolution packs), and click Done. The texture pack is now applied, you may now load your world and see the difference.
